Silver Longhorn

This magnificent creature is covered in 22,500 dimes. Affixed to its forehead is the marking of a true legend—a solid eleven-pound .999 pure silver disc that is a customized State Seal of Texas. It was auctioned off for charity by beloved Texas actor Matthew McConaughey. This beautiful sculpture was the inspiration of philanthropist and native Texan, Milton Verret, who hand-selected Sharon Keshishian and her team at Ion Art to see his vision come true! (2014)
