Franklin Barbecue is perhaps the most beloved barbecue restaurant in Austin, Texas! Founded by Aron Franklin in 2009, the restaurant has attracted a national following. In 2011, Franklin Barbecue moved to a brick and mortar location. The building and signage was painted in the same color scheme as the original trailer Franklin started in. The signage despite being simple and non-lit is iconic and full of character. The aluminum cabinet's asymmetrical shape makes it very distinctive and recognizable.
