The client's vision, inspired by some of the backdrops at the Oscars, was to create a wall with backlit panels, incorporating colors and textures that represent some of the various geological layers encountered during drilling. The drill bit in the wall sign is a replica created for the client by Baker Hughes. We loved the challenge of bringing the client's vision to life. The texture is created with 2 different mediums from Faux Effects, which were then handpainted to look like limestone and shale. We are thrilled we were able to achieve the look the client wanted and love the way their office reception area reflects their motto, “energy to move the world.”
