This is an original artwork by Lynné Bowman Cravens, 2022, and commissioned for Ft. Worth Public Art.

"Beauty in Becoming" is a series of "evolving" sculptures built from aluminum—each one representing a step in folding an origami Scissor-tailed Flycatcher. The five sculptures are each 8 feet tall and are painted in a white automotive paint to contrast with the natural background. These are permanently installed at the Holly Water Treatment facility near Trinity Park.
