Domain holiday Sculptures

The client approached us with a request to help them build a series of holiday decorations that could live independently around the mall. After some brainstorming and sketches, the idea of over-sized toys built in a vintage sign cabinet form really resonated with the client. From there, we had fun selecting which themes we would ultimately design. The Armadillo Snowman, Willie the Nutcracker, and Paint by Numbers Santa were team favorites and we got to work designing some elaborate paint masks and custom routed returns with festive patterns for each piece. Illuminated with spotlights and LEDs, these sculptures stand proudly at The Domain Northside during the winter season. This project was designed, fabricated, and installed by our amazing Ion Art crew.
