Austin Eastcider's came to Ion Art in 2016 for signs for their new corporate office in South Austin. Based on the success of that collaboration, Austin Eastcider's came to us when they acquired the location on Barton Springs for their first restaurant and bar, AEC came to Ion Art to bring the concepts developed by Opa Design Studio to life. The design for the vertical sign above the door looks like a tap handle. The sign spanning the entrance to the garden/patio pays homage to Barton Springs in its design while welcoming pedestrians. Channel letters on the awning attract vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the signature cream and navy of the Austin Eastcider's logo. Austin Eastcider's generously contributed product to our Surreal events. We enjoy partnering with this local cidery & restaurant!
