Franklin Barbecue

Franklin Barbecue is perhaps the most beloved barbecue restaurant in Austin, Texas! Founded by Aron Franklin in 2009, this award winning restaurant has attracted a national following. In 2011, Franklin Barbecue moved to a brick and mortar location. The building and signage are painted in the same color scheme as the original trailer where Franklin first began. Despite being simple and non-lit, the asymmetrical shape and iconic character of the sign makes it very distinctive and recognizable.
