The client approached us with a request for an iconic sign that would seamlessly incorporate vintage elements, longhorns, and neon lighting to enhance the vibrancy of their East Austin neighborhood. Throughout the design process, our designer worked closely with the client, refining the design through multiple iterations to ensure the final product met their expectations and vision. The completed sign stands approximately 20 feet tall and 15 feet wide (from tip to tip of the horns). It features a digitally printed vintage cowgirl on a painted aluminum cabinet, highlighted with neon accents. The painted aluminum cabinet bearing the "Howdy.com" branding is backed with acrylic and internally illuminated with LED lighting. The longhorns are sculpted from foam, coated for durability, hand-painted to achieve an authentic appearance, and then outlined in neon.
